What is EMFACE?

EMFACE by BTL utilises synchronised radio frequency (RF) and HIFES-brand energies. The RF heats the collagen and elastin fibres in the dermal tissue uniformly, whilst HIFES stimulation delivers numerous pulses in each session to contract the facial muscles. Resulting in a lifted, toned, really lovely strengthened, healthy appearance.

About EMFACE Treatment

EMFACE is quick, painless and non-invasive. It takes 20 minutes to treat 2 areas. Generally clients opt for a comprehensive treatment of 3 area (Cheeks, forehead, chin) this only takes 40 minutes and we believe offers superior results.
It is a perfect “lunchtime”procedure. Unlike surgery or injectables there is no downtime, anaesthesia, or visible marking to the skin.

EMFACE Submentum

EMFACE submentum is designed to deliver controlled RF energy directly to the submentum (chin) area. It selectively heats the underlying tissue whilst keeping the skin surface cool and protected. This innovative approach ensures uniformed heating of the treatment area. We can, if we need to, reduce fat in the chin area, whilst tightening skin and toning muscle. All this without causing discomfort or damage to surrounding tissue.

How Muscle Stimulation Works In Double Chin Reduction

One of the key features of EMFACE submentum is its ability to target both fat and muscle tissue beneath the chin. By using advanced RF technology the device stimulates muscle contractions, which not only help to strengthen and define the chin area but also enhance overall facial contouring. This dual action mechanism results in a more sculpted and youthful appearance, addressing both the volume and laxity concerns associated with a double chin.

How Is The EMFACE Treatment Performed?

The EMFACE process is uncomplicated and straightforward, requiring no pre or post preparation other than a cleansed face. Whilst you lie on the treatment couch the EMFACE applicators are positioned on treatment areas for 20 minutes. You will experience a pleasant sensation of warmth (similar to a hot stone massage) and you will feel your muscles contracting. Immediately after your session your skin looks radiant (similar to the glow after exercise).

How Long Before I See The Results Of EMFACE Treatments?

You will see results as you progress through your course. Best outcomes are generally observed around 3 months after your final session.

After your initial course of EMFACE we recommend a “top up” treatment every 3 months. We will discuss a maintenance programme with you to suit your needs.
